Ach die schoonzussen ! Tuurlijk waren er geen insecten te proeven. Die dag heb ik wel voor het eerst 10.000 stappen gedaan.
Of ik gisteren mee ga naar de Dolmen ? Ik herinner mij dat het geen gemakkelijke wandeling is. Na wat aandringen wil ik het wel doen. B is ook niet sportief zegt ze en heeft haar tijd nodig om tot daar te raken. We rusten wel voldoende onderweg. Om 6 uur sta ik naast mijn bed. Nog moe want de nachten blijven even warm. Een short en een katoenen topje, een grote fles bronwater uit de fontein en een paar korte kousen met sportschoenen. Onze hond gaat ook mee wandelen natuurlijk. Met haar 4 pootjes zal ze het wel halen zeker. 2.400 stappen tot boven en na 1.000 is het voor mij al meer dan genoeg geweest. Van stappen kan je moeilijk spreken. Noem het maar trappen. De weg is stijl naar boven en mijn hart slaat enorm snel. Ik krijg er braakneigingen van en heb het gevoel dat mijn longen veel te klein zijn om de gevraagde zuurstof te leveren. Ik moet het echt wel heel langzaam doen terwijl de anderen honderduit aan het tetteren zijn. Uiteindelijk wil ik alleen nog denken aan de volgende stap. Alleen deze stap nog en de volgende zie ik wel. De temperatuur stijgt maar hier en daar is het wegje overschaduwd. Lastig met die stenen over het hele parcours. Ze schuiven over elkaar en het is opletten waar je je voeten neerzet. Niet 1:30 doen we er over maar ruim 2:00. Boven is het wel de moeite waard. De Dolmen staat er nog en zal er waarschijnlijk nog een paar eeuwen blijven staan J. Of we het dorp gaan bewonderen van boven uit ? Ik vind het uitzicht daar schitterend maar was vergeten dat het weer een stukje dalen is langs de andere kant van de berg ! Tijd om terug te keren want straks is de temperatuur voor iedereen te hoog. Stijgen is lastig voor de ademhaling maar dalen. Mensenlief ! Mijn kuiten en billen krijgen de volle laag. Nu en dan moet ik gewoon stoppen want ik bibber op mijn benen en heb geen kracht meer om mijn gewicht langzaam te verzetten van het ene op het andere been. Dat is nodig om niet uit te schuiven. Op amper 1/3 van de afstand beginnen de braakneigingen weer en krijg ik stekende koppijn er bovenop. Even twijfel ik of ik me laat afhalen door een heli. Zelfs de hond loopt nu en dan te janken. Hoe krijg ik het in mijn kop om zoiets te doen ? Woede, boosheid, regelrechte colère en koppigheid brengen me uiteindelijk terug. Ik loop de bron steil voorbij rechtstreeks naar de badkamer waar ik een hete douche laat afkoelen tot ijskoud. Ik zie knalrood, drink nadien 2 liter water en neem een aspirine. Ik heb duidelijk een hitteslag opgelopen. Eerst de hond verzorgen die blaren heeft onder 2 kussentjes en dan doen we samen een super lange siësta. ’s Avonds zet ik de stappenteller af op 9.870. Ik heb nadien toch nog 3.000 stappen extra gedaan ! J
Vandaag ben ik super fier dat ik het gedaan en gehaald heb. De spierpijn valt heel goed mee en tot mijn groot jolijt zitten mijn korte broeken kleine maat wat losser. Of ik morgen terugga ? NO WAY maar die wandeling op die berg langs de andere kant spreekt me zeker aan. De auto zal me wel eerst naar boven brengen !
Ach zut ! jammer dat ik geen weegschaal heb.
