Gisteren naar het doopfeest geweest van het zoontje van mijn schoonbroer.
Veel te laat voor de mis, want mijn jongste dochter wou maar niet uit haar bedje komen. Iedereen was al lang aan het aperitieven eer we toekwamen. Dat was voor mijn natuurlijk handig, want zo raak je niet verleid tot chips en nootjes, of kaas en salami.
En het voordeel van bbq zijn natuurlijk de groentjes. En keuze was er genoeg in groenten. Mijn bord dan maar 2 keer volgeladen met wortelen, sla, rode biet, ed. En dan met 2 kleine stukjes vlees erbij, lijkt het toch alsof ik bergen voeding verzet heb. Tel daarbij ongeveer 2 liter water, en je heb echt geen zin meer in dessert.
Maar gelukkig was Nette tegen die tijd al weer doodop, waardoor we sneller naar huis zijn gegaan.
Wat een zalig excuus om sneller te vertrekken, zo'n vermoeide baby.
